A post graduate in German interpretation & a linguist & interpreter by qualification, Tanuja Pandey ventured into the tourism industry accidentally while managing a dermatology conference as an Interpreter in the year 1995 & stayed in the industry.
18 years of collective experience primarily in across all functions – sales / operations / marketing – and having worked with organizations like Star cruise, P&O & princess cruises, Cox & Kings, Thomas Cook & Sahara, Tanuja found her forte & domain expertise lay in MICE & small & large format Corporate Incentive & Events.

A specialist in outbound MICE, she is known for the quality & large format MICE movements she pulls off – corporate clients call her when they want “out of the box” incentives. She is currently the National Head – MICE with the Network 18 group.

Deepak’s foray into Event Management was not by choice, but coerced into it. All that changed with his first event. It became a passion and that same passion has continued for the last 14 years.

Having done events PAN India and in over 20 countries, Deepak found a need with his clients for a “One Stop Shop” which included travel & events, hence the foray into overseas travel merged with events 8 years ago.

A simple mantra that’s worked wonders for Corporate Events is to remember that, every event is “THE” event for any client. And, to ensure the events success, the same importance has to be maintained and imbibed by the agency implementing it. EVERY TIME!

Congratulations to Viva Voyages for creating the platform. Ayanaant, where industry stalwarts converge together, share their insights and possibly bring some sense to the madness. A first ever initiative, which I am sure will go a long way in benefitting the industry.

A Post Graduate in Tourism Management & Business Administration, Naveen started his career in 1997-98 and worked in SITA – Kuoni Travel (India) Pvt. Ltd in the initial years before joining Grand Hyatt Mumbai where he was a core member of the Pre-Opening Team and was instrumental in the successful launch of the hotel.

Post joining TUI – Le Passage to India in late 2006, he launched a new brand in the Conference & Event Industry – ICE – Integrated Conference & Event Management. He took ICE to new levels in the Conference and Event industry by supervising the ICE team in organizing some major events and was instrumental in getting Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010 and FIH Hockey World Cup 2010 in his kitty. He is also responsible for TUI – Meetings & Incentives Team which has successfully organised some high profile Corporate Meetings & Incentives under his leadership within India and overseas.

Under his leadership, the MICE Division has been conferred the National Tourism Award 2012 for “Best MICE Operator” by the Honorable President of India- Shri Pranab Mukherjee and Tourism Minister- Dr. K Chiranjeevi & the Today’s Traveller Award for outstanding contribution to MICE in 2012 awarded by the former Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahai.

He is a holder of SITE Membership and was the former Board Member of ICPB also. He represents the company in ICCA – International Congress and Convention Association.

Naveen was also associated with various educational institutions like YWCA, Indira Gandhi Open University and SITA KUONI Academy. Currently he is a member of the Board of Studies of Amity Institute of Tourism and Travel, Amity University, Noida.

With 37 years of experience at senior levels, Arun brings invaluable experience of MICE, Trade fairs and Leisure (FIT). He is experienced in the field of contracting, tourism products and destination development, marketing, business plans and sales.
Mr. Arun Hattangadi is a Post Graduate in MA (Economics) from Bangalore and also a Cost Accountant (inter). He brings to TMIC his strong foundation in tourism, and the knowhow to deal with the diverse needs of various nationalities garnered through 18 years in the Middle East, and extensive travels around the world. Under his leadership, TMIC has handled more than 500 MICE groups and also successfully forayed into trade fairs business.

TMIC ( Travel Masters India Corp), was a travel company established in 1991 and in the last 22 years has predominantly been focusing on Overseas Film logistics and Corporate travel. TMIC has serviced over 1000 movies across 50 countries and is one of the leading brands in this domain. Travel Masters was rechristened as ‘’TMIC’’ as it was rejuvenated by a bunch of young aspiring Senior Executives, who moved out of large Multinational Travel Companies and joined hands with Travel Masters to change the face of the organization and built it into a Pan India Travel brand. TMIC is a well-established brand within the travel and tourism industry and has aggressively expanded across the country with 11 branches, present in all main cities with a team of around 160 people across India and are all set to be among the top travel brands in the country in the next couple of years.

Being in this industry for so many years, I always thought that there was no platform or forum where there is an exchange of information & experience. Glad that Ayanaant is giving us all an opportunity to gather under one roof and have a different perspective of a travel trade. Looking forward.
