An alumni of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, as well as the Cembridge University, Parvez Dewan joined the IAS and was allotted the Jammu and Kashmir cadre.
During his first posting as Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Basohli, he revived its school of miniature painting.
Dewan was the Divisional commissioner of Kashmir from 2001 to 2003 as well as the Chairman of the state co-operative bank between 2002 – 2003. Dewan was also the resident commissioner of Jammu & Kashmir before he took charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of India Tourism Development Corporation in 2006. The company recorded its three highest-ever profits under him, and declared the only three dividends that it has since 1997.

Dewan has translated the Hanuman Chalisa into English, written the The Names of Allah, and brought out Jesus Christ Superstar in Urdu. He has also converted Habba Khatun’s songs into Urdu songs, set to the same tune.
Dewan is also the co-author of Tibet: fifty years after with Siddharth Shrivastava. The Dalai Lama has written the foreword to this book.

As a college student Dewan was for three years the Campus Correspondent of The Hindustan Times Evening News. During the same period, for Youth Times [a Times of India publication] he reviewed music (mainly Western popular and classical) and did the Hodge Podge column under the pseudonym ‘Ponga Muni‘.

Guldeep is the Managing Director of Weldon Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd., an outbound IATA accredited travel agency.

A B.Sc graduate from Hindu College, he began his career with his family business (Weldon Inks) till 1988. Later he started his own firm Weldon Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd.

Guldeep has been in the travel industry for the last 24 years. He was also the General Secretary of Trade Association from 1984 till 1990.

Voted in the world’s top 100 favourite travel writers (tripbase.com 2010), and a finalist in ASTW travel book of the year awards 2009, he’s published 7 books with sales of around 100,000 copies. Stu is the only Western trainer in Asia to be certified directly by Lateral Thinking guru, Edward de Bono and founded the Ideology Asia innovation consultancy with clients such as Citibank, Ricoh, JWT, DraftFCB, etc. Stu MC’d the TEDx ‘Creativity & Collaboration’ forum, Thailand, 2011.

He also co-founded the Lloyd Martin communications agency in Singapore, building it into a $20 million business with clients such as adidas, Microsoft, Perrier, Christian Dior, Standard Chartered bank, Hilton Asia Pacific, Amex Travel, etc.

Most recently he was Senior Director at Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) where change management was a large part of his marketing and membership role.

J B Singh is the President and CEO of InterGlobe Technology Quotient Pvt Ltd (ITQ),the official distributor of Travelport Galileo and Travelport Worldspan in India and Sri Lanka. In his current role, Mr Singh spearheads operations at ITQ given his clear understanding of the dynamics of Travel and GDS Industry.

Most recently, he was the Director and CEO of Calleo Distribution Technologies, distributor of Worldspan GDS in 9 countries including Indian Subcontinent – Mauritius, Australia and New Zealand.

Mr. Singh holds a Management Degree from Oxford Brookes University, UK. With an experience of over 26 years in the aviation industry, he brings with him a rich pool of knowledge and experiences from various aviation organizations. Prior to working with Calleo, he was associated with Jet Air and had held various positions including Head of Jetair Tours as well as worked in areas of Revenue planning for the airline. Previously he was associated with Scandinavian Airlines for two years as the Head of their sales and marketing operations in India. In early years of his career, Mr Singh was associated with British Airways, where he worked for eleven years and later with Jet Airways as the head of North India operations.

Over various stages of his career, he has identified his areas of expertise as strategic management, people management and revenue management. With a firm hold on these three key areas of management, Mr. Singh is expected to bring ground-breaking ideas into the system.

Adventurous by nature, Mr. Singh likes to explore road journeys. He is also an avid golfer and music & reading are his favourite pass times.
