Rajiv Bajaj is an Aviation & Tourism industry professional who has been in the trade for the last 25 years. He has worked for over two decades in the airline industry, including the National Carrier, and Air Mauritius Ltd, where he headed the Northern region for over ten years. He is now the Director & COO of a travel company that specialises in Representation of overseas tourism products and B2B marketing of tourism and travel related products.<\/p>\n

He is also a trainer and a visiting faculty with several leading institutes. A keen web enthusiast and computer expert, Rajiv has an expertise in Social Media Marketing as well as development of web-sites. His web-based projects include his own blog, which has a large following all over the world, and Tourism Interface, a newly launched platform exclusively for tourism industry interaction and cooperation, apart from several other sites.<\/p>\n

He has a deep understanding of the online platform and has closely been following its evolution and application in the tourism & travel industry.<\/p>\n

\nNikhil Ganju is responsible for leading the TripAdvisor India business, where his mandate is to consolidate TripAdvisor\u2019s position as a leading travel site in India and grow it to become the no. 1 destination for Indian travellers planning their holidays.<\/p>\n

He has over 14 years of experience as a marketing professional, with 12 of those years spent in online businesses in India. Prior to being appointed Country Manager, Nikhil has been heading TripAdvisor India\u2019s marketing efforts since the launch of India operations in 2008.<\/p>\n

Nikhil has overseen a period of rapid growth of TripAdvisor\u2019s presence in India \u2013 from 2008, where a few hundred thousand Indian\u2019s were using the site, to now, when it is consistently within the top 5 travel sites in the country (in terms of traffic), just behind the top OTA\u2019s. During Nikhil\u2019s tenure, TripAdvisor India has become India\u2019s no 1 travel planning site, and more importantly, has become the de facto destination for Indian\u2019s seeking user generated travel content on hotels, attractions and restaurants. TripAdvisor India\u2019s content offering has also grown significantly and the site now features more than 20,000 Indian accommodations with by far the largest pool of reviews on them, so that no matter where in India you are travelling to, there are real traveller reviews to help. Nikhil also oversaw the introduction of unique and very successful promotions with very relevant travel audiences such as airline frequent fliers, aimed at getting Indian travelers into the habit of contributing reviews. Partnerships with leading travel brands has been another area where TripAdvisor India has made major strides, ensuring that no matter what leading travel site travellers are on, they view TripAdvisor content on it as well \u2013 some examples being the content partnerships with MakeMyTrip, Cleartrip, Jet Airways etc.<\/p>\n

Nikhil\u2019s mandate is to make TripAdvisor India the leading travel site in the country as well as the leading and most comprehensive hospitality database in the country with the largest pool of content on it and he will continue to direct his attention on these ambitious goals.<\/p>\n

Before TripAdvisor, he was Marketing Director at Expedia India from October 2007 onwards. Nikhil has almost always worked within the internet space \u2013 starting with being a part of the very first team at baazee.com, staying with them until the site was acquired by eBay in 2004. He has also worked with Airtel, where he was marketing broadband services and Indiatimes.com, where he was heading Online Shopping.<\/p>\n

Nikhil holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune (1997), graduated from the College of Business Studies, Delhi University (1995) and went to school at the Modern School, Vasant Vihar in Delhi.<\/p>\n

He lives in Gurgaon, on the outskirts of New Delhi, and is an avid photographer, reader (some of his favourite reads are \u2018What should I do with my life\u2019 by Po Bronson, \u2018The World according to Garp\u2019 by John Irving, most of Murakami\u2019s novels and he also likes reading the Gita almost on a daily basis), inveterate traveller and outdoor enthusiast, recently trekking alone to the Everest Base Camp in Nepal. One of his favourite quotes is \u2013\u2018Leap\u2026and the net will appear\u2019.<\/p>\n

\nRam Mohan K M is a Computer Science Engineer from \u201cCollege of Engineering, Pune\u201d, with over 12 years of technology experience. Post his engineering, he got together with his college friend and created \u201cTAXHELP\u201d, a quick search tool for direct taxes. Regional Income Tax departments, adopted the tool for its user friendliness and quick response times.<\/p>\n

He moved on to Head Technology and was the Chief Architect at Traveljini.com, where he was first exposed to the travel domain. Its kept him excited till date. He also had an entrepreneurial engagement with SourceFuse India, where he worked as Co-Founder and Head of Operations & Engineering.<\/p>\n

In his current assignment with Kuoni Travel India, he heads Technology & Business Applications. Additionally, he now heads the eCommerce initiative and is working overtime to get over the learning curve of understanding the business. The journey is a lot of fun and opportunities in scale and ability to take data led decisions is what excites him the most. He believes in \u201cidiot proofing\u201d user experiences and the current business model allows him to take a fresh look at both online and offline business processes.<\/p>\n
